The nearest train station in Italy is Tirano, from there you can take the bus bringing you to Livigno.
By Car from Italy
If you come from Lombardia, Piedmont and Liguria
To arrive at Livigno there are two ways:
- From Bormio follow the indications for the Foscagno Pass, which is always open.
- From Tirano follow the indications for Switzerland, Poschiavo and up to the Forcola Pass. Be careful, this pass is open only in summer time.
If you come from Triveneto, Emilia, Central and Southern Italy: Motorway to Bolzano - Bozen exit Bolzano Sud, highway to Merano, Malles Venosta / Mals - Swiss Customs Tubre / Taufers - Pass dal Fuorn - road tunnel "Munt la Schera".
By Car from from Northern Europe
All Year:
- Landeck (A) - Scuol (CH), Zernez (CH), road tunnel "Munt la Schera"
- from Zurich (CH) - Landquart (CH) - Kloster (CH) - car train tunnel Vereina - Zernez - road tunnel "Munt la Schera".
In the summer

By Air
The nearest airports are Bergamo Orio al Serio, Bolzano and Milan. Dunring winter time from Bergamo Orio al Serio there are buses bringing you to Bormio (please ask for further information). From there you can take the bus till Livigno. |
