· 1 km far away from Giardinetto, at the Hotel l'Approdo (same management) other facilities are at our guests' disposal: windsurfing, tennis courts, snookers-room, small covered swimming-pool (32°C) with hydro-massage, sauna.
· 3 kms away it is possible to reach the "Sacro Monte" and the medieval village of Orta San Giulio with its narrow lanes and S. Giulio's Island.
· We have a private boat stop which takes our guests to the island and back several times a day.
· Great tours around the lake to see the typical towns of Omegna and Borgomanero.

The Orta Lake is a beautiful small lake nearby the most famous one, the Maggiore Lake. You can have pleasant walks, visit the big cities like Milan or Turin (which are about one hour driving distance from here) or just enjoy the sunset by the lake, sitting on one of the small beaches along it. Many sports can be practised here, like horseback riding, sailing, tennis, mountain bike and of golf: there are many golf courses in the area and they are wery well organized!
