La Grange de Julie has three unique rooms, each with its own private bathroom. The rooms are painted white, the bathrooms are gaily colored. The ground floor room has a French window that opens to the garden to the West. The walls are painted white and hung with pastel water-colors (painted in the 1940s by an American Great-Grandmother), the ground is tiled in soft gray, there is a double bed and a mahogany desk. It is a very separate, private room, and also the only one we sometimes accept pets in. |
There are two rooms upstairs, both with large windows to the East with a lovely view of the mountains (and, of course, the trees, the birds and the paragliders). These rooms have hardwood floors and high sloping ceilings with exposed beams. One room has a double bed and a single bed, and can receive a baby cot. In this room, there is a classical mountain wardrobe, quite a few cartoon books that have been read by several generations, and a collection of old and new metallic toys. |
The other room has a second window looking South. Here there are two single beds and a cot (for a child up to three years old) - and an antique school desk. We furnish all linens and towels, can loan you necessities such as a bottle-warmer, an iron, a hair dryer, _ However, we do not do room-service. On request, we can provide a television for your room. |
