By Road
From Lyon or Geneva, leave motorway A-42 at the "Annecy Sud" exit; then take the direction of Albertville by R.N. 508 (the lake is on your left side). When you get right at the other end of the lake (called «Bout du Lac», 5 km after Duingt), turn right in direction of Lathuile till you get to the roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout (route de Chevilly), la Grange de Julie is 450 metres (n°450) further on, on your right again.
By Train
The nearest train station is in Annecy (15 km). It is possible to rent a car at the station - then follow the above indications.
It is also possible to take a bus from the station ("Cars Crôlard") to the stop called "Rond-Point de Lathuile" (500 m from our house). From there, you walk back to the roundabout, "Route de Chevilly" is in front of you and La Grange de Julie is indicated.
By Plane
Geneva: Meyrin airport is 64 km away. Follow directions to Annecy, then the above indications.
Lyon: Saint-Exupéry airport is 142 km from here, and the A-42 will also take you to the "Annecy Sud" exit.
Grenoble: Saint Geoirs airport is 146 km from here. You can either transit by Annecy or by Albertville. |
