By Car:
Champagny en Vanoise is located 670 km from Paris, 180 km from Lyon, 135 km from Geneva, 130 km from Grenoble and 95 km from Chambéry.
From Lyon, drive on the motorway to Chambéry and then take the direction of Turin and Milan on the Autoroute de Maurienne. Exit at junction "Albertville" and go to Moutiers (dual carriageway), and then on the N90 in direction of Bourg Saint Maurice. Exit the road following the signs to Montchavin-les-Coches. At 8 km from the valley, along a local road, you will enter the village of Montchavin. The hotel is right in the village, next to the ski cable lift.
By train:
Direct trains from Paris and in winter from other French and European cities arrive in Moûtiers station, some 30 km below. There are link with Champagny en Vanoise by regular bus.
By Plane:
The closest international airports are Geneva's at 140 kms, and Lyon's at 165 kms. Other national airports include Chambéry (105 kms), Annecy (100 kms), Grenoble (130 kms) and also Courchevel's small mulitport accessible only in winter, at 25 kms. You can either rent up a car, or take one of the buses that will take you first to Moutiers. |
