You will be enchanted by the wooden decor and roaring fire place in the hotel and restaurant. When entering the hotel, you will be welcome by our "skier" (a statue of course!) in the lobby. You will relax in the comfortable sofas, or also enjoy a drink from the bar corner.
The hotel has also a restaurant serving of course Savoyard and High Savoyard specialties, but also a more refined type of cuisine made of original mixes, and also fish! The all atmosphere is cosy, thanks to the use of wood everywhere, with a old school touch. |

There is a free shuttle bus service to take you from the hotel to the ski-lifts. Val d'Isère is considered as La Mecca of Ski: it has hosted more than 150 World Cup races and 4 events in the 1992 Olympic Games, and will host the FIS alpine Ski World Championships in 2009.
Tignes's skiing area includes the highest point of the Espace Killy (the combined ski area between Tignes and Val d'Isère), la Grande Motte (3500 m), and offers a wide choice of slopes for skiers of all standards. Tignes also means endless ski as its Glacier de la Motte is only close for some weeks each year. The Espace Killy is a combined skiing area of 300 km of slopes, more than a hundred runs of varied types, 90 ski lifts, cross country trails, snow parks. The area is named after ski champion Killy, who raced for Val D'Isère and won 3 gold medals in the 1968 Olympic Games. |
