The hotel can be found close to the centre of Bled, on Cankarjeva street; the hotel is surrounded by a park with large, mature trees and there is a breathtaking view of Lake Bled which has an island, and the splendour of the Julian Alps create the superb backdrop. Bled is on the edge of Triglav national park which is the only one in Slovenia. It is less than a two-hour drive from the Adriatic Sea, and half an hour from the capital Ljubljana where the international airport is located. |
By Plane
The international airport Ljubljana-Brnik is approximate 35 km away from the hotel and many low cost airlines fly into it directly. You can reach the hotel by taking a taxi or by hiring a car and following the directions below in the driving instructions; it will take around 30 minutes to drive to the hotel. You can also take a taxi to the main central station in Ljubljana or shuttle buses run by ALPETOUR or JP Ljubljanski potniški promet and follow the instructions below.
By Train
To arrive by train make your way to railway station Lesce-Bled, this is approximately 5km away from the hotel. The main central station in Ljubljana connects via LP trains to Lesce-Bled; they run throughout the day and take around two hours, sometime nearly three depending on route. Guests can take a taxi from outside station and be at the hotel in around 10 minutes. You can take a bus to the bus station in Bled, direction BLED or BOHINJ, from there the hotel is a five minute walk and there are no buses so you have to walk or take a taxi. From the bus station continue along Presernova Cesta and at the end turn right into Ljubljanska Cesta and a few hundred metres later turn left into Ulica Narodnih Herojev, follow that till the end and it becomes Cankarjeva, the hotel is just on the left at number 4.
By Car
From the Ljubljana-Brnik airport Departure for Ljubljana-Brnik, centre. Continue straight on for 3.5km and pass by Voglje. Turn right onto the 104 and pass by Sencur after 1.8km. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit Continue along the E61 / A2 for 16km. Take E61 / H1then take E61 / 8 for 6.5km and turn left onto the 209 passing close to Lesce after around 2.0km and then continue along the Ljubljanska Cesta for 0.8km. Arrive in Bled, In Bled; you will see Krim Hotel on your right. Turn left 200 metres after this into Cankarjeva and you will see Hotel Golf in front of you. |
