By Car
When driving on the motorways passing respectively by Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich, exit at junction "Kufstein Süd" (please note that you do not need any toll sticker!) and follow the direction to Kitzbuehel all the time. Once you enter Kitzbuehel, you will see on your right hand side Hotel Erika and a one way street you can not drive in. Turn right at the following street (on the other side of the road you will find directions to the Hornbahn) and follow the direction Im Gries, then turn right again and the hotel is in front of you. Great tip: enter the address "Im Gries" into your GPS!
By Train
The closest and most convenient station is Kitzbühel's _ the station is about a 10-15 minute walk from the town center _ some buses run at irregular intervals from the station to the center of town!
By Plane
The 2 closest airports are Salzburg's (80 kms) and Innsbruck (100 kms). From there you can either rent a car, or take the train at the local train station (there are always shuttle buses to the city center from the airport) and take the train to Kitzbuehel. |
