By car
From the North: take the A10 highway towards Villach; exit Bischofshofen , following B167 federal road until Lend. Turn left towards Gasteinertal ; once in Bad Gastein, stay on the main road - do not enter the town center of Bad Gastein. Drive up the hill to the right, past a Shell gas station on the left, followed by the train station on the right. After passing the SPAR supermarket, turn left, and after 0.2 miles/300 meters left again. Then follow the street for about 2 miles/3 km to the Grüner Baum.
From the South: take the A10 highway towards Salzburg; exit Mallnitz-Oberfellach and follow the road until Mallnitz. Their you will have to put your car on the car train to Böckstein. Once in Böckstein, follow the road to Bad Gastein. After passing a train bridge, turn immediately right, and follow the street for about 2 miles/3 km to the Grüner Baum. | | |
