 Le Mont Charvin is located in a small and nice village on the mountain close to Abertville. It offers all the main ski facilities. Near the hotel, there are some shops and bars, which are easy to reach on foot. For a better choice, you need to reach the centre of Albertville, at about 20 km or Ugine, at 14 km. |
By Car
Coming from the south, you have to take the highway to Albertville, A 43 and exit at Albertville centre. Then you have to cross the town and follow the directions to Ugine. When you are at the roundabout at Ugine, follow the directions to Saint Nicolas la Chapelle and the you find also the signs to Crest Voland: pay attention the street is quite narrow. When you arrive at Crest Voland, you follow the sign to the hotel and there is a parking in front of it.
Coming from the north, take the highway, A 40 and exit at Passy-St Gervais les Bains. From there follow the street to Ugine and Albertville. After Praz sur Arly, you find also the signs to Crest Voland and then to the hotel as above.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Albertville. From there you can take the bus service to Crest Voland or you can rent a car and reach the hotel as above.
By Plane
Coming from Annecy, you can take the train to Albertville and then you can rent a car to Crest Voland. If you prefer you can rent a car directly in Annecy. From there, you have to follow the street long to Albertville. Then follow the directions to Ugine and at the roundabout follow to Crest Voland: pay attention you have not to go to Albertville. The nearest international airport is Geneve. From there, you can take the train to Albertville and then, as you prefer: you can rent a car or catch the bus to Crest Voland. |
