 The Residence Lastei is not open throughout the year, but only from mid June to the beginning of September, and from the end of December to the end of March (you should check the exact dates before booking). It provides all sorts of facilities, which make up an ideal formula complimented with the self-catering apartments. |
 After a day at the slopes of the Tognola or Malga Ces circuits, you can relax at the indoor swimming pool while your kids play video games at the playroom; or try the sauna, the whirlpool and the hot/cold shower with horizontal hydromassage. |
 In the mornings, the bar offers a breakfast buffet for those days when you don`t feel like preparing it yourself: it is a continental meal, rich enough to help you regain energies for your daytime activity. The reception desk is open from 8am to 9.30pm, and the staff speaking German, Italian and English will guide you to the garage where to leave your car and the ski room, where your ski equipment will be kept warm during the night. |

The village of San Martino di Castrozza can be found at the base of the Pale mountains, at a height of 1.465 metres. The centre is really close to the Residence Lastei, with plenty of shops, boutiques and pubs where to spend the evenings. However, the main activity planned for the day can become nocturnal: the Colvedere tracks are open sometimes till 11.30pm, enabling you to experience the thrill of nocturnal ski. Then, during the day, the main slopes are the ones at Tognola and Malga Ces.
As regards the children, near the sport centre you will find the miniclub during the afternoon, and there is another place to leave them at the Tognola shelter.
As much as ski may be the main objective of your holidays at San Martino di Castrozza, there are other activities related to adventure, therefore summer can also be a good time to stop at the village. The natural park Paneveggio is worth visiting, and many feasts and traditional celebrations are organised for the "low season" of this destiny: concerts outdoors, guided excursions to fascinating heights and folk parties are just the beginning of the fun. |
