The Trst Hotel is located in Bled which is in the northwest of Slovenia, less than 50km from the capital Ljubljana and 35 km from the international Ljubljana Airport. The area has a mild climate, an enchanting lake with a romantic island and majestic snow capped mountain peaks. By Plane:
The international airport Ljubljana-Brnik is approximate 35 km away from the hotel and many low cost airlines fly into it. You can reach the hotel by taking a taxi or by hiring a car and following the directions below in the driving instructions; it will take around 30 minutes to drive to the hotel. You can take a taxi to the main central station in Ljubljana or use the hourly shuttle bus service ran by ALPETOUR or JP Ljubljanski potniški promet and follow the instructions below by train
By Train:
To arrive by train make your way to railway station Lesce-Bled, this is approximately 5km away from the hotel. The main central station in Ljubljana connects via LP trains to Lesce-Bled; they run throughout the day and take around two hours. Guests can take a taxi from outside station and be at the hotel in around 10 minutes or take a bus to the bus station in Bled, direction BLED or BOHINJ, from there the hotel is a five minute walk and there are no buses so you have to walk or take a taxi. From the station you can just follow the sign posts to the hotel, leave the station and simply walk down Cesta Svobode to the hotel for about 0.6km, the station is at number 4 and the hotel number 12 Cesta Svobode.
By Car:
From the Ljubljana-Brnik airport Departure for Ljubljana-Brnik, centre. Continue straight on for 3.5km and pass by Voglje. Turn right onto the 104 and pass by Sencur after 1.8km. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue along the E61 / A2 for 16km. Take E61 / H1then take E61 / 8 for 6.5km and then turn left onto the 209 passing close to Lesce after 2.0km and then continue along the Ljubljanska Cesta for 0.8km. Arrive in Bled after 1.2km and continue along the Ljubljanska Cesta for around 1.5km, the lake will be on your right and the hotel is just on the left side at Cesta Svobode 12 before the Grand Hotel Toplice. |
