 Val Cancano is the longest plateau in the Alps, located at 2000 meters above sea level. More than 40 kilometers of entirely flat land are waiting for you. Ride along the artificial dams of Cancano, into the small canyon of the Valle del Gallo, and head right to the nearby Switzerland. The ride can be made by all levels of biker, easily and safely. Chalet Villa Valania has certified mountain-bike rental, offering the latest models in bikes to its guests at no extra charge. In addition, thanks to the friendly collaboration between our bike rental point and the Italian Mountain Biking School located in Val Fraele, our guests will receive favorable rates when accompanied by a Mountain Bike instructor. The Welcome Card is Free for all hotel guests and includes :

Take your first vertical steps or train for your next 'real' climb. For your safety and to learn the latest rock climbing techniques we suggest you get assistance from expert Alpine Guides from Alta Valtellina. Our guests will receive a special discount on all Alpine Guide rock climbing instruction. Do you love fishing? Trouts and chars are waiting for you in the dams of Cancano and San Giacomo, just a few hundred meters from the chalet. This isn't an exclusive service just for our guests, it's something special that nature offers all of us. From here you can head out on beautiful walks, from the simplest to the most difficult, throughout Stelvio National Park, a natural park that has been praised by the most important international natural magazines. Although you can get to the Chalet Villa Valania with your own car all throughout the year (in the winter we suggest tire chains or snow tires),anyway we offer transport service to and from Bormio at special rates. Winter here is truly magical and the breathtakingly beautiful landscape that you find only here looks like the pages of a fairly tale. A walk with snow shoes (free at the hotel), an excursion with alpine skis or on cross country skis in the white splendor of the Val Cancano will always leave you with the gift of an unforgettable memory.
